Yaad is built for private family memory work. During this launch, interviews, photos, transcripts, generated chapters, citations, and search indexes are kept inside the book they belong to and are not public by default.

What We Keep

We keep the information needed to run the book: account identity, consent records, interview recordings, transcripts, uploaded media, generated drafts, citations, audit records, and operational logs.

Sharing

Book owners control family invitations. Viewers can read shared material, but owner actions such as editing people, changing permissions, and deletion requests remain owner/admin workflows.

Deletion And Export

Printable export is available now. Deletion requests start from settings or by emailing hello@yaad.ai from the owner email. We revoke access first, then run the deletion workflow for interviews, media, generated files, and search indexes, and confirm status by email.

Vendors

Yaad uses specialist providers for login, hosting, storage, transcription, language models, voice, monitoring, and search. Vendor use is limited to operating the product and investigating support or security issues.
